The iconic Anglesey Offshore Dinghy Race race, first run in 1965, kindly supported by ContractCars.com will be running on the 13th August as part of the Allen Endurance Series 2023.
The race runs from Beaumaris to Traeth Bychan via the Menai Straits, through Puffin Island sound with a turning mark off Moelfre, a distance of over 15 nautical miles for the monohulls and up to 30 miles for cats.
It is open to monohulls with a Portsmouth Yardstick of 1142 or lower and to multihulls with a PY of 926 or lower. Frequent visitors include Olympic sailors as well as past and present National Champions.
For those wanting to make a weekend of it there will b racing open to visitors at RWBSWC on the Saturday, a social evening with live music on Saturday night (tickets will be available separately) before the endurance race on the Sunday.
