The Royal Fowey Regatta dates back to Queen Victoria’s days when she was a visitor to the event. Racing takes place from the picturesque harbour on the river Fowey on a mixture of courses to suit classes. Cruiser racing in IRC, Byron and white sail classes including passage races to Flushing and back . Also Troys, Fowey Rivers, dinghies and working boats.

As well as racing there is a full programme of entertainment and events in the town for those not participating in the racing including many activities for children.
