Sonata

Sonata

Racer & cruiser in both fixed & lifting keel versions. The Sonata is very seaworthy and fast for its size. Sadly, it's no longer built, but Hunter Boats made over 400 Sonatas during a period of about 20 years and you'll find Sonatas all around the UK. A friendly class association and good one design class racing. Sonata class racing can be found at events such as Cowes Week and The Scottish Series. Many sailing clubs have adopted the Sonata as a one-design class and most of the major regattas have a Sonata start. Author: Graham Foster
