See also: ndyc.org/open-meetings/open-week-2026Following on the success of last years event with 75 boats sailing over the week, we would love to invite to North Devon Yacht Club. Whether you are a first time entrant or a regular attendee, you are most welcome ! This is probably the cheapest and friendliest week in the South West.
This year Open Week features daily racing from Sunday 2nd August to Saturday 8th August with a programme designed for members and visitors alike. Racing will be programmed for Fast Cats including the Dart18s, Dart15s, Monohulls (featuring Blaze and Laser subfleets), Gaffers, and Youth fleets.
The draft sailing schedule is available now and the social calender will all be available soon - keep checking this page. If you join the events WhatsApp group you will be notified when they are available along with any race announcements during the week.
If you are booking your accomodation, we recommend you book accomodation for Saturday night as owing to the tides, we will finish late and then hold the prize giving. Best to have a drink and celebrate one last time with your mates and then head for home in the morning.
Camping is available locally. Tarka Trail Camping comes recommended and is a short, flat cycle ride away: https://tarkatrailcamping.co.u... Camper vans may stay overnight in the dinghy park but spaces are very limited. Camping is possible, but the dinghy park is large gravel so come prepared. There is a fee for camping and camper vans this year.
