Before this year’s Boot Düsseldorf, who would have imagined that a young French catamaran shipyard would defeat its aggressive monohull counterparts and capture the Holy Grail title of the international boating industry? EXCESS' PRESENCE AT THAILAND INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW

The popular Excess 11 was magnificently displayed at the Phuket Yacht Haven Marina during the recently-completed Thailand International Boat Show. A big thank you to the Primus Marine team——our partner in the Kingdom for arranging the display and introducing this model to visitors in Southeast Asia.

The Excess 11 is the only large-scale production boat on the market for this size of catamaran. This 37ft cruising catamaran is impressive both in terms of comfort and space, as in terms of sailing sensations. The Excess 11 is a boat capable of long passages and is made for life on board.

DISCOVER APAC’S FIRST EXCESS 13 AT SINGAPORE YACHTING FESTIVAL

We are thrilled to announce that Asia Pacific’s first Excess 13 will be showcased at the upcoming Singapore Yachting Festival, from April 23rd to 26th. We will have a dedicated Excess booth with the brand-new Excess 13 on display for her APAC premiere. Special thanks to our dealer in Thailand, Primus Marine, for providing the vessel, and to Pro Sail Asia, our dealer in Singapore, for presenting her at the Singapore Yachting Festival. This show also marks the official debut of Pro Sail Asia as Excess's official dealer in Singapore.

According to 38 South Yacht Sales, our dealer in Queensland and Victoria, Australia, the country's first Excess 13 will arrive in Brisbane in February, where it will be available for inspection at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron from late February and then on display at the 2026 Sanctuary Cove Boat Show in May.

The Excess 13 has seen significant success since its launch at last year’s International Multihull Show, with 13 units sold on the opening day. In the APAC region alone, two units of the Excess 13 have been handed over to their owners via European Delivery, while one unit will arrive in Australia in February and another in Thailand in March.

THE EXCESS 13 OUTPERFORMS AT SERIOUS OFFSHORE SEA TRIALS

In early December, the Sail Tahiti team, led by founder David, embarked on a delivery trip of a brand new Excess 13 named “Karma 2.0” from Les Sables-d'Olonne, France, to Gibraltar. During the journey, spanning 350 NM, they faced the notorious December chill, compounded by 5-meter swells, fog, strong winds, and rain at sea. Our courageous and experienced sailors were well-prepared, and these challenging weather conditions provided the perfect opportunity to test the vessel’s performance during serious offshore trials.

As Japan’s most important marine event annually, the 2026 Japan International Boat Show returns in March in Yokohama. Our dealer in the country Odyssey Marine will represent Excess at the show and display the Excess 14 on-site.

The Excess 14 is a cruising yacht that combines exhilarating performance with a playful design. She offers an unparalleled sailing experience, with helm stations located at the stern, providing direct contact with the rudders and a clear view of the sails. Moreover, she prioritizes comfort and modularity, ensuring a delightful living space for all onboard.
