East Coast Sailing Week with BP - Day 2

Two yachtsmen won their second races of the East Coast Sailing Week which continued on the River Forth yesterday (MON).

Robin Brownlie (Royal Forth) took the Class Three event for the second race running in Hopscotch and Andy Linton of Burntisland Sailing Club skippered Naiad to back-to-back wins in the slow cruiser section.

Winds were variable for the five-hour passage race from Fisherrow to Kinghorn and then on to Burntisland and over to Granton.

The event, held on a rotational basis between the Tay, Forth and off the Northumberland coast, continues until Friday and has attracted around 60 craft from as far north as the Tay and south to Whitley Bay.
