Performance Sailcraft Pre-delivery Inspector

An opportunity has arisen to join the Technical Team at Laser’s headquarters in Long Buckby as a Pre delivery Inspector.

The Pre-delivery Inspector provides a key link in the supply of new boats through quality inspection and repairs.

Applicants should have a comprehensive knowledge of repairing GRP products with particular skills in repairing gel coat surfaces.

Responsibilities would include the inspection and repair of hulls from outsourced suppliers, repair of warranty hulls and reporting quality issues to the Technical Department.

The successful candidate will be self motivated with excellent attention to detail. Experience in repairing GRP boats or other products, i.e. cars or caravans would be an advantage although, not essential, as training will be given.
