Audi Lasersailing International Grand Prix - Day 4

BARRY FINDS HIS EDGE

RWO's Barry Edgington & Dan Johnson found their form today with two race wins, and Proctor closed the gap on Laser 5000 leaders Aquatonic.

It's taken a while for RWO's Barry & Dan to get into their stride, but today they scored two firsts to show that "ballistic Baz" still has what it takes in the Laser 5000 game. However, disqualification from the middle race of the three saw them have to count an eleventh, so they slipped to 3rd overall. Meanwhile, a more consistent Mark Rushall & Jonny Meers brought Proctor through to second place, snapping at Aquatonic's heels after a lacklustre performance by Andy & Dave Richards. It's all to play for on finals day, with every result to count.

In the Laser.eps fleet Audi Foundation's Andy White went on the rampage, showing just how hard you can hike in the force 4 breeze crossing the harbour. He took all three wins, to stay at the top of the leader boat.

Adobe's Pete & Lisa Nicholas kept their grip on the lead in the Laser 4000s with two firsts and a second, whilst Monarch Team Unllimited are charging up the boatd with a clean sheet of 3 winds from today.
