This very popular round-the-Island race regularly draws 20+ boats. The top trophy is the Jesse Boot Trophy for Class 1 cruiser/racers(presented to the Club by the founder of Boots the Chemist). A special trophy is awarded to the boat making the fastest circumnavigation on elapsed time (the record stands at 3h7m). The course takes boats anticlockwise around the Island via the Violet Channel buoy and concludes with a prize-giving and supper in the RCIYC that evening. Visiting boats are assured of a very warm welcome. There is no entry fee.
