It is with regret that Banbury SC announce that the Silver Tiller Open Meeting planned for 15th April has been cancelled in view of the low water levels in Boddington Reservoir. The long range forecast does not give us any hope of rain in the next few weeks.
Our local area has experienced the dryest 18 month period on record and we are currently some 1.45 metres below top level which reduces considerably the sailable area of the reservoir and leaves us with no alternative but to cancel the event.
