Solo to Portland will start mid Solent Friday evening racing overnight. (This race also serves as a qualifier for SORC Channel week) There is a beautiful trophy for this race kindly donated by Dean & Reddyhoff in 2011 and is a headboard car (the infamous one that failed) from Ellen MacArthurs B&Q Trimaran. This will be presented after the first leg.
The return leg sets off Sunday morning finishing mid Solent depending on tides and wind on the day. All yachts moor overnight Saturday at Dean and Reddyhoff Marina in Portland Harbor for first leg prize giving and supper.
