PB Europe appoints Quay.JE and Watersportscentrum to strengthen presence in leisure and commercial maritime sectors.

Protector Boats' European distributor, PB Europe, has strengthened its presence across the continent with the appointment of two new strategic partners, expanding the brand's reach in both the leisure marine and commercial maritime sectors.

Part of the Ancasta Group, PB Europe has signed partnership agreements with Jersey-based marine specialist Quay.JE and Dutch RIB and workboat expert Watersportscentrum, further enhancing Protector's distribution network in key European markets.

"We are delighted that Protector will complement the portfolio of brands offered by both Quay.JE and Watersportscentrum, enabling us to reach two distinct and important sectors of the market," says Ian (Andy) Andrews, Sales Manager at PB Europe.

"Quay.JE is an established and highly respected presence in the Channel Islands, supported by a strong in-house aftersales team. This strategic partnership will allow us to respond to the growing trend of islanders making leisure trips between the islands and to mainland UK and France - journeys for which Protector boats, with their premium offshore capability, are exceptionally well suited."

Ben Dandridge, Director at Quay.JE, adds: "At Quay.JE, we have long admired Protector's high-performance RIBs, and they represent a very welcome addition to our growing new boat portfolio. They provide a fast, reliable and seaworthy solution to support the increasing demand for inter-island commuter vessels."

Quay.JE will represent Protector Boats at the Jersey Boat Show (2-4 May 2026), where the Protector Targa 380 will be showcased.

Protector boats are widely recognised for their versatility, robust construction and high level of customisation, qualities that make them particularly attractive to global military, maritime enforcement and operational agencies. With this in mind, PB Europe has also partnered with Watersportscentrum from the Netherlands to develop the brand's presence within the commercial marine sector.

"Within BENELUX there is no one better connected to the commercial marine sector than Duco Snijder, so we are extremely pleased to be partnering with Watersportscentrum to introduce Protector boats as a multi-role platform for maritime organisations and government agencies," Andrews continues.

Duco Snijder, Owner of Watersportscentrum, explains: "The time when agencies maintained multiple specialist vessels has largely passed. Today, organisations require multi-role platforms capable of handling a wide range of assignments without sacrificing performance. Protector Boats leads the field in this area thanks to its robust build quality, exceptional performance and highly customisable approach.

"In addition to introducing these proven craft to potential commercial customers, we will also represent Protector at regional boat shows and on-water events as a strong solution for safety, media and committee boat duties."

Protector Boats comprises two distinct model ranges:

Protector Chase

The high-performance centre-console Protector Chase range offers expansive deck space and a commanding helm position. Its advanced RIB hull design delivers outstanding performance at all speeds, providing a safe and smooth ride even in challenging offshore conditions.

Protector Targa

The Protector Targa range combines the brand's renowned RIB hull performance with the comfort and protection of a hardtop cabin. Increased hull weight and extended waterline length deliver exceptional stability and performance, enabling users to travel further and faster in comfort and style.

Through PB Europe, New Zealand-based Protector Boats is continuing to expand its network of European partners.

Companies interested in representing these multi-functional RIBs across the leisure marine, commercial maritime or superyacht sectors are invited to contact Ian Andrews at or visit pbeurope.com
