Originally developed for the 36th America's Cup, smartlink wireless load sensors from Cyclops have permeated every kind of sailing, from dinghy racing to weekend cruising.
Allowing racers to hit and repeat their fastest settings and cruisers to keep a close eye on safe loading, Cyclops has innovated to shrink the technology down and reduce costs - bringing wireless load sensing within reach for more sailors.
Introducing smartlink² Atto 1.2t
smartlink² Atto 1.2t bridges the gap between the existing smartlink² Nano (max working load 600kg) and the smartlink² 2t.
Using new body work, smartlink² Atto 1.2t delivers extraordinary value for money.
Modelled on the original Atto sensor, which best serves the dinghy classes, but with a higher gauge stainless steel core increasing its working load limits, it is perfect for keelboats, dayboats and small yachts. It's easily installed, removed, and reinstalled, and can be used on any system from control lines, to sheets, to rigging.
The Benefits
For performance, wireless load sensing empowers sailors with highly accurate load data so they can hit and repeat their fastest settings. Data can be viewed live while sailing (via all major marine electronics brands), allowing you to make adjustments to consistently hit your best settings on screen. It can also be used for post-sail analysis & training via the Cyclops app and a number of third-party apps.
For cruising, it allows you to set your rig to a known tension at the dock, and to monitor rig settings live while sailing. Visual cues when loads begin to escalate let you take action to depower the rig, and provide peace of mind that you are safely within limits.

With a max working load of 1.2 tonnes, assured accuracy to within 1% of maximum working load, and outstanding value for money, Cyclops' latest sensor is the clear choice for a wide range of sailors.
