Musto Unveils New EVO Autumn/Winter 2025 Collection: smarter thermo-regulating performance gear

Musto's brand-new EVO collection for Autumn/Winter 2025 brings cutting-edge science to outdoor performance wear, with innovative thermo-regulating technology designed to keep you comfortable, whether you are working hard or standing still.
The EVO Therm Primaloft Waterproof Jacket and the EVO Polartec 3-in-1 Adapt Waterproof Jacket, alongside the EVO Windproof Knit in the men's range, are the hero products of this new collection, which is bolstered by a wide range of mid-layer, lighter layer, fleece jackets and tops for men and women. With over 60 years of engineering high-performance sailing gear, Musto has pushed the boundaries once again: this new EVO series features body-mapped design and advanced insulation to regulate body temperature as conditions, and your activity level, change.
Independent scientific testing backs the tech
Musto has a long history of testing products before releasing to market - whether this is on the water or in the lab - to ensure their garments are fit for purpose. On this occasion, Musto worked with the Institute of Applied Sciences at the University of Chichester. Researchers led by Dr. Andy West tested the EVO Therm Primaloft Waterproof Jacket in a temperature controlled chamber going as cold as 1 degreesC and as warm as 8 degreesC. Test subjects swallowed biometric sensors to track their internal body temperatures and had two additional temperature sensors on their chest and forearm, to measure temperature fluctuations during both low and moderate activity.
The new EVO Therm Primaloft Jacket was tested against Musto's Corsica fleece-lined jacket - the base jacket for colder 1C testing - and the Sardinia single outer layer mesh-lined jacket - the base jacket for the warmer 8C setting.
The results? The new EVO Therm Primaloft Jacket performed as well or better, helping regulate body temperature and maintain comfort regardless of activity levels or varying temperatures demonstrating that this new jacket is a great solution to take the wearer through the winter and into Spring/Summer.

The introduction of Primaloft Active Evolve fabric technology which manages heat and moisture is the game changer here. This innovative insulation mimics natural fur - its open structure allows airflow when active, and traps warm air when at rest, helping the body self-regulate temperature. This smart, responsive design of the new EVO Therm Primaloft Jacket means fewer layers, less bulk, and maximum comfort, whether preparing to go out on the water on a cold day or hiking upwind in freezing rain.

EVO Windproof Knit (£170 for men): a stylish merino wool/cotton blend with a 2-layer windproof lining, breathable mesh underarms, and smart detailing for comfort on cold, windy days.
EVO Venture Technical Fleece Jackets & Vests (from £125-£135 for men): tough, abrasion-resistant mid-layers designed for high-output activity or as outer layers on cool days.
