American Boating Congress closes with legislative advocacy and industry innovation on display

The 2025 American Boating Congress (ABC) concluded this week in the nation's capital, bringing together marine industry leaders and policymakers for high-level discussions on the future of recreational boating and marine manufacturing.
Culminating the three-day event, Rep. Mike Collins (R-Ga.) opened the morning breakfast and emphasized the important role the recreational boating and fishing industry play in our nation's economy. Former Sen. Joe Manchin (I-W.Va.) also addressed attendees, emphasizing the importance of constituent-driven policymaking, the strength of American manufacturing, and his personal connection to boating and outdoor recreation.
Following a morning of keynote remarks and industry networking, recreational boating leaders visited Capitol Hill for meetings with lawmakers and staff.
