Gozzi Mimì is working at full speed to launch the Libeccio 8.5 Walkaround

by Gozzi Mimì 16 Jul 2021 11:47 BST

These are very busy times for Gozzi Mimì, as it is finalising the last details of the brand new Libeccio 8.5 Walkaround designed by Valerio Rivellini, due to make its world premiere at the Genoa Boat Show.

The new gozzo will be the only Walkaround model of this length to offer a separate bathroom, while its clean and refined lines are the result of the Shipyard's intent to combine cutting-edge technology with respect for the tradition of the Sorrento's gozzi.

The date of the technical launch of the Gozzi Mimì's latest project is approaching and the model will make its world debut at the next Genoa Boat Show.

Designed by Valerio Rivellini, as all the latest and most innovative models, the Libeccio 8.5 Walkaround is an elegant gozzo with an unmistakable design that takes its cue from the fascinating Sorrento tradition of the 60s without ignoring the most modern technological solutions that have always distinguished the Shipyard.

The boat will therefore feature classic, clean lines, reminiscent of traditional gozzi, but will stand out from other models of the same kind by offering a separate bathroom, the only boat to do so in this segment, and extensive liveability provided by the walkaround configuration.

Domenico Senese, owner of the yard, remarked: "The Libeccio 8.5 Walkaround is a new step forward in our stylistic research, aimed at presenting on the market gozzi that are able to appeal to a wide audience, with young and modern tastes, looking for the right compromise between elegance and sportiness. This boat has the same family feeling as the 8.5 Classic we presented in Genoa last year, and at the same time introduces a number of features of the 9.5 Walkaround, such as the extensive liveability of the external areas, especially the aft cockpit, which features a C-shaped sofa that can be transformed into a sun deck or dining area".
