Tickets Selling Fast for British Nautical Awards

by Sue Warden Owen 21 Nov 2000 17:08 GMT
Those wishing to purchase tickets for the British Nautical Awards should do so soon. That's the message from the organisers who report that 75% of tickets have already been sold. This comes hot on the heels of the announcement of the short listed results for the ten category awards, which includes the Olympic Sailing Medallists amongst others.

Dubbed the 'Oscars' of the British boating scene and the social highlight of both the yachting year and the London International Boat Show, the winners of the British Nautical Awards will be revealed on 5th January 2001 in the presence of Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal at the Boat Show Ball at the London Hilton, Park Lane.

"We are delighted with the high response for ticket requests," says Chris English, CEO of the British Nautical Awards. "The quality of people and products short listed for this year's Awards is outstanding and I am sure that the evening will be one of our most successful yet."

Tickets for the Boat Show Ball can be purchased for 95 pounds each (plus VAT) and are available from the Ticket Desk on 020 7724 8917 or the website on www.nauticalawards.com
