Chipstead SC is pleased to host this annual event which has been a feature of the Firefly class calendar since the late 1950's

This open will include heats of the National Firefly Association's Vines Trophy and M25 Trophy championships

And our world famous afternoon tea and cakes after the racing all within the entry fee!

More detail - four races are planned with a briefing at 10.30, bacon butties first thing, light lunches will be available then tea and CAKE; of course, as well as competitors, friends and families and technical advisers will all be especially welcome to join us for the day

Our lake of about sixty acres is large enough to give interesting and thoughtful racing for the more expert racer but at the same time provides confidence for the less experienced to enjoy their sailing and feel comfortable. Full patrol boat cover, of course, (the usual T and Cs apply) and launching can be from a beach or off pontoons, so no need even for our feet to get wet!

The club house provides all the usual facilities with excellent viewing of the race track from the balconies, there is plenty of parking
