New for this year, the Castle Rock Race as the grand finale of the RORC Season’s Point Championship. With the Rolex Fastnet Race now finishing in Cherbourg, this event replaces the usual Cherbourg Race that would be held at this time. Much like the Channel Race, the course will be a short overnight sprint, setting off from and finishing in Cowes. Between, the course is otherwise flexible and will be set by the Race Office according to forecast and the tidal state. Once back in Cowes competitors will experience the warm welcome by the RORC Cowes Clubhouse where the prize-giving will extend to an evening of partying with all competitors and their guests enjoying all that the Clubhouse has to offer.
