Laser Masters Series Finale - Pevensey Bay SC

An Indian Summer is forecast for this coming weekend of the 1st and 2nd September.

22 degree temperatures. Coupled with an early prediction of South Westerly breezes ranging upto 11 knots. Suggesting a good prospect for us to enjoy a building sea breeze for this weekend. Creating the familiar Champagne sailing conditions of smooth waves and surfing conditions regularly enjoyed by one of the South Coasts jewels, that is Pevensey Bay.

Free beers on the beach, BBQ, free camping on site and a social programme of entertainment and top prizes from Laser Performance, South East Sailboats, Rooster Sailing and Fernhurst books promise another action packed weekend in the Laser Masters calendar.

Competitors and their families are welcome to enjoy the free camping and on site facilities in the clubs own private grounds with room for caravans, campers and tents.

For the non sailors with Kids there are a host of exciting activities in the locality, including Treasure Island , 9 hole Pitch and Putt next door to the Sailing Club, Adventure Crazy Golf, Dry skiing at nearby Knockhatch Adventure centre, Open Top bus rides along the South Downs, Eastbourne's famous local Pier and Forte Museum; plus our own private beach for those who like the beach life with a bucket and spade. Bring your bikes for a seafront cruise, visit the Ghosts at night at Pevensey Castle ; Pevensae is thought to be the original landing point of the Norman Conquest depicted in the Bayeaux Tapestry.

The club is open from 12 noon on Friday afternoon.
