Don't miss your chance to win at the annual RYA Awards

Applications for the annual RYA Awards have been extended until 5pm on Sunday 11th October with the winners announced during a ceremony at the 2027 RYA Dinghy & Watersports Show.

From introducing new people to boating, to developing opportunities for underrepresented groups, improving sustainability, supporting volunteers and delivering outstanding programmes and events, the RYA awards shine a spotlight on organisations that are helping our sport thrive.

It provides an opportunity for organisations of all sizes to gain national recognition for their achievements, share examples of best practice and celebrate the dedication of volunteers who make so much possible within our boating community.

In addition to being recognised by the RYA, winners of the award categories will each receive a prize worth up to £2,000 or more, thanks to the generous support of the Awards' commercial partners Gallagher, Musto, Marlow Ropes, and Harken.

2027 Award categories:

Together on Water

This award celebrates affiliated organisations that are using boating as a platform to champion equality and are eliminating barriers to participation for individuals or communities historically underrepresented in boating activities.

The Green Blue Team

Celebrating teams who have inspired and supported affiliates in implementing sustainable practices or introducing environmental projects that reduced carbon footprints within organisations.

  • RYA Award Partner: Musto

Young Person's

Recognising inspiring groups who encourage participation, development of skills, and volunteering for young people. This award recognises those who create opportunities for individuals aged 25 and under.

Active

Celebrating achievements in developing strong participation opportunities which enable members to stay active throughout their life on the water.

Event of the Year

Presented to volunteer groups behind successful events that align with the RYA's Together on Water objectives, this award recognises the dedicated workforce that drives these impactful events.

Applications are open to RYA Affiliated Organisations that hold current affiliation status in 2026.
