Latest industry stats from the NMMA now available - MarineBusinessWorld North America newsletter

The latest annual total industry sales by category and state report, part of NMMA's 2025 U.S. Recreational Boating Statistical Abstract, is now available for member download.

In 2025, U.S. recreational marine retail spending totalled $54 billion, reflecting the broad economic impact of boating across sales of boats, engines, trailers, accessories and related spending categories.

Last week, recreational fishing and boating leaders from Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina were in Washington, D.C., for a South Atlantic red snapper fly-in hosted by the American Sportfishing Association (ASA), Center for Sportfishing Policy (CSP), Coastal Conservation Association (CCA), Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation (CSF) and National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA).

Remoran, the Finnish innovator in renewable marine energy, has officially announced its expansion into the United States maritime market. In a strategic move to meet the growing demand for sustainable ocean cruising, Remoran has signed an exclusive US distribution agreement with Bainbridge International, a legendary name in the marine industry.

Patrick Industries (NASDAQ: PATK) and LCI Industries (NYSE: LCII) AKA Lippert announce they have entered into a definitive agreement to combine in an all-stock merger, forming a premier component solutions provider for the outdoor enthusiast, housing and transportation markets. Under the agreement, which the Boards of Directors of both companies unanimously approved, this strategic combination brings together two companies with complementary product portfolios and longstanding partnerships with customers and stakeholders across North America and Europe.

World Cat Boats has expanded its North Carolina dealer network with the addition of Revis Yacht Sales in Wilmington, North Carolina. Effective immediately, Revis Yacht Sales will represent and sell the full line of World Cat boats, bringing the brand's industry-leading catamarans to one of the state's most active coastal boating markets.

The International BoatBuilders' Exhibition and Conference (IBEX) announced the addition of three new team members who will help strengthen the event's education, sales and marketing initiatives including year-round engagement efforts. The new hires reflect IBEX's continued investment in creating an event experience that is more interactive, hands-on and responsive to the way marine professionals want to learn, connect and do business.

The East Coast, which last month saw some of its greatest potential for flooding during the entire year, will experience a reprieve in July. The West Coast and Hawaii will not be so fortunate. Tides will be highest on and around the new moon, on July 14, and the full moon, on July 29.
