We are delighted to announce that Allen, one of the world's leading makers of high-performance sailing hardware, has come onboard to sponsor the 2026 505 World Championship at Hayling Island 2nd-11th July.

The 505 Worlds will be one of the major dinghy racing events in the UK this year with 80 boats already entered from ten different countries. Well known as a very tough fleet, this year will be no exception with some of the best small boat sailors from many classes competing to win one of the most coveted titles in world sailing to become 505 World Champion.

Head of Marketing at Allen Brothers, Ben Harden said, "We're incredibly excited to support the 505 World Championship at Hayling Island Sailing Club. The 505 class has a long-standing reputation for innovation, performance and close racing, so it's a fantastic event for Allen to be involved with. We're looking forward to seeing some incredible racing on the water and catching up with sailors from across the fleet."

Allen's comprehensive range of innovative, well-designed hardware is extremely popular with 505 sailors worldwide from the staple dynamic blocks ranges all the way through to the Wheel of Tune which now works so well in the 505 that it is being raved about and is increasingly a must have for new builds.
