All set at 505 Euro Cup Series Leg 1 in La Rochelle

After two days of organised training, run by the French 505 Class, leg one of the the 505 Euro Cup series is about to start in La Rochelle, France. Close to 45 boats from across Europe, Australia and the USA have assembled with an interesting mix of new teams and established ones ready to take each other on.

Weather is looking good, with fresh breeze for the first day, moderating as the weekend progresses giving all teams a chance to shine. 2025 defending Champions, Jan Phillip Hoffman and Felix Brockerhoff are back to defend their title and previous winners including Ian Pinnell, sailing with Rich Mundell of Canada, Howie Hamlin and Jeff Nelson and Mike Holt and Rob Woelfel all present.

Also of note, 4 time World Champion, Peter Colclough has returned with a new boat after many years away from the circuit, sailing with Alister Morley.
