Leading multihull specialists Leopard is excited to announce that the brand-new Leopard 46 Sailing Catamaran and the Leopard 46 Powercat will both be on display at the Sydney International On Water Boat Show, running between 13th-16th November 2025 at Cockle Bay Marina, Darling Harbour.

The appearance of these two models' side by side marks a first for Australia and highlights the strength and versatility of Leopard Catamarans' latest generation of design.

New model - Leopard 46 Sailing Catamaran

The Leopard 46 Sailing Catamaran combines offshore capability with luxury liveability. While retaining the core elements that made the Leopard 45 so popular, the Leopard 46 introduces numerous innovations to enhance comfort, convenience, and sustainability. The layout has been refined to provide a seamless integration between the aft cockpit and saloon, allowing for flexible living spaces. The elimination of the skipper cabin has made way for more spacious accommodations, including a choice of three cabins plus a utility room, a four- cabin layout, or five double cabins, all with ensuite head/showers. She is designed for sailors who value performance and comfort. Seamless flow between the cockpit, saloon, and forward lounge enhances onboard living, while multiple interior layouts cater to both private owners and charter operators.

A highlight of the 46 Sail is the optional Hybrid Electric Drive system, which integrates electric propulsion, lithium-ion storage, and solar regeneration. This technology delivers quieter motoring and reduced emissions, making the Leopard 46 one of the most forward-thinking sailing catamarans on the market today.

Leopard 46 Powercat

The Leopard 46 Powercat is tailored for those who prefer cruising under power. With expanded deck space, a large flybridge, and luxurious cabin layouts, it is ideal for entertaining, extended coastal cruising, or resort-style living on the water.

A separate engine room is completely sealed off from the living space, substantially reducing engine noise.

Here, access can be found via a large deck hatch with a step ladder for easy entry. All major systems, complete with intuitive functionality, are housed in the full-sized engine room.

A unique opportunity in Sydney

"Having both the Leopard 46 Sail and the Leopard 46 Powercat available to inspect side by side at Sydney is a fantastic opportunity for Australian buyers," said David Flynn (sales manager) "It allows people to experience the best of both worlds — the thrill of performance sailing or the convenience and power of a luxury motor yacht — all from the same trusted Leopard platform."

David and his experienced team across Australia and New Zealand have been the exclusive agents of Leopard Catamarans in Australia for over 15 years, offering expertise in new yacht sales, brokerage, charter programs, and after-sales service. The Sydney International On Water Boat Show provides the perfect platform for prospective owners to explore the latest Leopard designs and learn more about ownership options.
