Sail Canada announces that Canadian Pace Inflatable Boats and Yamaha-Motor Canada will serve as the official Coach Boat and Outboard Motor of the Canadian Sailing Team.

The partnership aims to develop a new professional Coach Boat designed for high-performance coaching in Canada.

Developed in collaboration with Sail Canada's high-performance team, the Pace Arrow 580 will be assembled by Canada's Pace Inflatable Boats and powered by Yamaha to meet the evolving needs of elite coaches working with Canada's top high-performance sailors.

Sail Canada had the unique opportunity to provide input during the Arrow 580's design process to enhance the performance and utility of this new coaching platform. Following sea-trials in July, The Arrow 580 will support the professional training and high-performance coaching of the Canadian Sailing Team.

"This collaboration brings together innovation, performance, and national pride," said Sail Canada's Chief Executive Officer, Ryan Kelly. "We're thrilled to work with Pace and Yamaha on this project to bring a great platform to market and ultimately serve the needs of our coaches and sailors alike." - Ryan Kelly, Chief Executive Officer, Sail Canada

"Founded by lifelong sailors, Pace Inflatable Boats is proud to partner with Sail Canada and Yamaha in support of the Canadian Sailing Team. His collaboration is a testament to our continued focus and support for Canadian Sail Training. We share Sail Canada's passion for the sport and we're grateful for their collaboration in the development of the new professional Arrow Series." - John Doucette, Co-Founder, Pace Inflatable Boats

"Yamaha-Motor Canada is extremely pleased to announce the joint venture alongside Sail Canada and Pace Inflatable Boats. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in Yamaha's commitment to supporting the sailing community across Canada. Together, we eagerly anticipate this unique collaboration and the development of the new Arrow series. This innovative project represents a fusion of our collective expertise and passion for marine products, and we look forward to the positive impact it will have on the community." - Matt Both, Product Line Manager - Outboard Motor Sales, Yamaha Motor Canada Ltd
