After the DOM133 no. 10252 and T52 no. 10259, it was Speed Bear's turn to hit the water last week. Speed Bear is a 44 m planing vessel built for an Owner deeply in love with Baglietto's yachts - vessels that have made history among fast boats.

For this project, Francesco Paszkowski Design - who also took care of interiors in collaboration with Margherita Casprini - drew from the classic lines of Baglietto's traditional fast aluminium yachts reinterpreting them in the modern design style of the FAST range recently launched by the Seagull brand.

More specifically, the vertical stern reminds of successful models like the Monokini (winner of the Compasso D'Oro award) or the Pachamama, just to mention a few, with a modern flair. In fact, the garage door folds down to become a generous beach platform with a lounge area.

The hard top endows the yacht with a very contemporary character while offering protection from the sun on the fly bridge; and, aft on the main deck, the lowered superstructure makes room for a comfy sofa serving a dining area. A pool can also be found here, and, once the two folding terraces are opened up completely, the contact with the sea will be closer than ever.

This unit is equipped with two MTU 12V4000 M93 L engines that will take her to a cruising speed of 23 knots and a maximum speed of 27 knots.

"Innovation rooted in tradition: this is, in a nutshell, the very essence of this new hull - says Baglietto's CCO Fabio Ermetto - This is indeed a custom project that exudes classical beauty while also featuring innovative solutions. She is a yacht that reminds of several historical and yet revolutionary vessels built by Baglietto which marked the history of yachting, from which she has inherited both style and design, while also being a brand-new, one-of-a-kind project, faithful to Baglietto's DNA".
