The BSI Marine Equipment Group is delighted to announce its expansion, with the purchase of the Danish control systems company Lyngaa Marine.

Lyngaa Marine is a maritime technology company that creates alarms and control systems for superyachts, commercial marine, fishing boats and large ship sectors. Speaking on the purchase of Lyngaa Marine, Mark Barwell, Chief Commercial Officer for the BSI Marine Equipment Group said, "The Group has worked closely with Lyngaa Marine for several years using their excellent controls in both Hundested and Ocean Marine Systems (OMS) propulsion and thruster deliveries. Their technical knowledge and experience are second to none, and I am excited to see them join the BSI Marine Equipment Group."

Per Christiansen of Lyngaa Marine will remain as general manager said, "Today Lyngaa Marine can deliver all types of automation for a ship's engine room and propulsion. I look forward to continuing the business in the same spirit as we always have done, and I am pleased to have gained new colleagues and new inspiration in the form of the BSI Marine Equipment Group."

Lyngaa Marine is based in Birkerød, 30 minutes north of Copenhagen.
