One hundred young sailors, from all over New Zealand, sailing 50 RS Fevas will compete in SailGP Inspire program, which is sailed in conjunction with the SailGP regatta in Auckland.

They will be part of an event which features many of the sailing rockstars from the 2024 America's Cup, and Paris2024 Sailing Olympics.

The RS Feva racing will be based at Royal Akarana Yacht Club. The class has free coaching and practice racing from Thursday January 16, with actual racing starting on January 17 - 19 ahead of the Sail GP racing each day.

SailGP Inspire will be the perfect build-up before the NZ Nationals held at Murrays Bay Sailing club, with an expected 50 – 60 boats on May 10 - 11, 2025.

As well as the racing sailors are invited to tech tours, meet sailors, and have the opportunity to watch the racing on the big screen at the yacht club or stadium.

'Breaking Boundaries' is an evening to hear about amazing female athletes leading the sport - the RS Feva is a unique class where achieve almost 50 % of the sailors are female.

The NZ Feva Association would like to thank the following Sponsors for making this event happen:

  • Toyota Albany
  • Royal Akarana Yacht Club,
  • NZ Sailcraft,
  • Russell Coutts

The NZ Feva Association is excited to announce that the following sailors have been accepted into the 2024 NZ SailGP Inspire RS Feva program.
