Carbon Yachts, the exclusive Australia and New Zealand dealer for Saffier Yachts, is proud to announce the APAC premiere of the Saffier SE 24 Lite at the 2025 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS). This marks the first appearance of the award-winning daysailer on Australian shores. Crowned the 2024 European Yacht of the Year, the Saffier SE 24 Lite has captivated sailors worldwide with its nimble performance, elegant design, and eco-conscious engineering.

Marketed as "A Sailboat Driven by Nature," the SE 24 Lite is designed to be entirely self-sufficient. Whether under sail or motor, the yacht's integrated solar panels on the foredeck power an electric drive system, ensuring a sustainable and efficient boating experience. The APAC premiere will showcase Carbon Yachts' first example of the SE 24 Lite in a striking grass-green custom gel coat, reflecting the model's connection to nature and the customisable appeal of Saffier Yachts. The next SE 24 Lite arriving in Australia will feature a vibrant 'traffic orange' finish, underscoring the growing demand for personalised design options.

"At Carbon Yachts, we've seen tremendous enthusiasm for Saffier Yachts and the concept of daysailing, which reflects a growing shift in how Australians enjoy their sailing," said Mary Bickley, Sales Manager for Carbon Yachts. "The SE 24 Lite is not just a beautiful sailboat; it's a statement about the future of sailing—eco-conscious, self-sufficient, and designed with the modern sailor in mind."

The arrival of the first SE 24 Lite in Australia coincides with the fulfilment of initial customer deliveries, with the first yacht destined for her new owner in Victoria shortly after the show.

The SE 24 Lite's debut comes at an exciting time for sailing in Australia, with interest in the sport and lifestyle continuing to grow, fueled in part by the buzz around international events like the America's Cup. Over the past year, the SE 24 Lite has become the most visited model page on the Carbon Yachts website, generating over 100 digital enquiries. Globally, the Dutch-based Saffier Yachts has received orders for more than 100 units of the SE 24 Lite, solidifying its position as a standout model in the daysailing market and a prime example of the resurgence in sailing's popularity.

Mary Bickley added, "The SE 24 Lite is a testament to what modern daysailing should be—simple, stylish, and utterly enjoyable. The vibrant customisation options and its sustainable ethos are resonating with sailors around the world. It's exciting to see this global demand translate to our local market, and we're confident SCIBS attendees will love what the SE 24 Lite has to offer."

The decision to bring a Saffier Yacht to SCIBS for the first time reflects Carbon Yachts' commitment to advancing the daysailing concept in Australia and New Zealand. With its sleek lines, innovative design, and undeniable performance, the SE 24 Lite is poised to attract both seasoned sailors and newcomers looking for a more accessible sailing experience.
