Apreamare attends Cannes Yachting Festival with new Gozzo 38 Cabin

by Apreamare 17 Jul 2024 14:37 BST 10-15 September 2024

The new Gozzo 38 Cabin by Apreamare will make its debut at the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival. Alongside the novelty, the shipyard will also display the open versions of the Gozzo 35 and Gozzo 45.

With a renovated stand and a "private" pier, Apreamare has chosen the boat show on the Croisette to exhibit the new Gozzo 38 Cabin, the latest example of Italian nautical craftsmanship from the historic Neapolitan shipyard founded in 1849, to the public for the first time.

Conceived by Cataldo Aprea and designed by designer Marco Casali together with engineer Umberto Tagliavini, the Gozzo 38 Cabin represents a significant evolution of the Gozzo 35, differentiated largely by the introduction of new design elements that support an exceptionally comfortable onboard experience. Starting from the internal volumes, expanded by the deckhouse, the habitability of the boat is significantly increased, satisfying owners who want more shelter and comfort to be able to sail in all weather conditions throughout the year, even in the seas of Northern Europe. Furthermore, the generous enlargement of the stern platform brings the total length of this seaworthy vessel to 11.45 meters.

The connection between the interiors and exteriors is facilitated by a 4-panel glass door that creates a large common space. The salon includes a helm station, a fully functional galley and an L-shaped dinette, offering a high level of comfort. The external spaces are carefully designed: in addition to the generous stern platform, there is a large sunpad at the bow, an L-shaped sofa in the cockpit for six people with a removable table, and large lateral decks.

Below deck, the optimization of space has led to a layout with two cabins and a bathroom, which provide two meters of headroom. The guest cabin, located amidships, is wider, allowing the insertion of a 140cm bed at the head. The propulsion options include two units of Volvo Penta D4-270 DPI or D4-320 DPI sterndrives, or the traditional Volvo Penta D4-320 shaft drive configuration, ensuring efficient and versatile sailing.

Gozzo 38 Cabin will be available for sea trials upon reservation during the show. Apreamare will be present at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024 at the stand VIEUX PORT, QSP 146
