When KICKER Marine Audio said, let's "Go Overboard!" bringing premium sound to all types of boats, veteran championship angler and extreme fishing influencer, Scott Martin, said, "OK! Let's roll!" He rigged his 42' Freeman filming and charter boat the Vice Versa, along with his two Skeeter FXR 21's, and his Skeeter 2550 bay boat, each rigged with KICKER's premier marine audio. All of Scott's boats are used for filming his nationally syndicated TV series The Scott Martin Challenge. His Skeeter bass boats help him be successful on the Bassmaster Elite Series, while his '42 Freeman, the Vice Versa, sports a KICKIN' KICKER Marine wrap and provide his saltwater platform for filming TV shows, videos and entertainment for family and friend.

Martin has been fishing competitively for 25 years, originally on the FLW Tour and now on the Bassmaster Elite Tour since 2021, with two appearances at the Bassmaster Classic.

Martin recently won the Bassmaster Open in his backyard on Lake Okeechobee and felt blessed to follow in his father, Roland Martin's wake. "Here, where the dream started in 1991...for it to come full circle, standing in the same spot, holding this trophy over my head with my dad looking at me, was epic!" he stated. Martin will participate in the Bassmaster Elite Series through August, as well as a number of Bassmaster Open events. With his Open win at Lake Okeechobee, he has already qualified for the Bassmaster Classic in 2025.

Scott and his daughter Hilary, the TheReelHilarySue, will be making appearances at the upcoming Bassmaster Classic Expo in Tulsa Oklahoma. Hilary was highly successful in the B.A.S.S. High School tournament series, and she is now continuing her career at the University of Alabama, as part of their bass fishing team that competes in the Bassmaster Collegiate Series. While the Martin family has fished together for generations, watching his daughter position herself as an accomplished tournament angler is more than he could have ever hoped for.

The Scott Martin Challenge is delivered to over 15 million viewers annually on ESPN2, Discovery Channel, CBS Sports Network, the Pursuit Channel, plus a number of regional TV networks. His social media reach has surpassed 1.5 million engaged subscribers/fans/followers across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, demonstrating his ability to reel-in viewers with his weekly challenges featuring top anglers, as well as family and friends. Martin's amiable, winning style and diligent drive make him an entertaining figure to follow, but he takes entertainment on his boat as seriously as he takes his fishing equipment. Martin and his family and crew enjoy listening to tunes while on the water fishing and on the way to and from their favorite on-the-water destinations. For the past several years, they have counted on KICKER Marine Audio for its durability, reliability, service, and quality sound.

The tech team at KICKER Marine Audio outfitted Martin's boats with top-of-line KMXL speakers, subwoofers, amplifiers, and head units and while he likes his music loud with the resounding bass the KICKER is known for, Martin likes the clarity of the sound even more than the volume. "We play a lot of different kinds of music but we always know that it is going to sound good with KICKER Marine Audio—and I don't have to worry about things breaking, wearing out or disintegrating in the salt, water and wind that we face regularly at tournaments, while chartering or out for a family fishing trip," says Martin.

"Scott is the type of professional KICKER admires and is proud to have as part of our influencer and sponsorship team since 2017," says Jeremy Bale, brand manager for KICKER Marine Audio. "The whole Martin family is fun, down-to-earth and sincere in what they do in all aspects of their life and work and that fits the integrity, mission and quality sound that KICKER has been delivering since 1973," he adds.

KICKER expanded into Marine Audio in 1998 and has since developed its full line of Real Marine components that deliver its renowned high-quality sound to the harsh marine environment. KICKER Marine Audio can be found in many OEM builds and has a vast after-market following with 1,200 authorized dealers and installers throughout the U.S. and a network of 2,000 dealers in approximately 50 countries worldwide.
