Universal Yachting is pleased to announce its participation in the popular South Coast & Green Tech Boat Show, where it will represent Dufour Yachts as its UK Distributor.

In addition to catering to those with long-term plans, the South Coast Boat Show's timing naturally appeals to buyers eager to hit the water this season. Universal Yachting has therefore selected three yachts to display at the show - the Dufour 37, 41, and a nearly new 390 - all available for sale and ready for immediate delivery.

This presents a unique opportunity for those wanting to embark on boating adventures this year to purchase what they see at an attractive price and get out on the water in time for the upcoming summer season.

"We are thrilled to showcase these outstanding yachts at the South Coast Boat Show. While these are among the last boats available for this season, those planning for 2025 can also explore our full range and discover the exceptional features that distinguish Dufour Yachts." stated Chris Warwick.

Alongside attractive pricing, Universal Yachting will be offering a comprehensive "sail away equipment package" with each purchase, so there is little more that new owners need to do than just step onboard. Any amount of equipment and options can be added, meaning these yachts can be fully tailored to suit the individual needs of any owner, including the option to supply ex-VAT for those looking to sail outside of the UK.

In addition, the team is excited to highlight the New Dufour Smart Electric Range. This innovative solution, available on select Dufour models, seamlessly integrates with the boat's systems, presenting a practical, enjoyable and eco-friendly alternative to traditional diesel engines.

Simply put, an electric motor replaces the diesel engine, drawing power from a substantial bank of lithium-ion and phosphate batteries. A sizable generator is on standby to recharge the batteries once they reach below 20% capacity. In silent mode, you can cruise silently for 35-40 miles, ideal for manoeuvring in harbours or anchorages. When the generator is operational and the batteries are directly charging, the yacht operates much like a traditional diesel engine, with fuel capacity being the only limiting factor. However, as a sailing vessel, using wind power is a natural choice, with the propeller doubling as a hydro generator while under way. In the event of calm winds, a discrete amount of silent electric power can be employed in "hybrid mode" to maintain the desired speed.

The presence of Universal Yachting at the South Coast Boat Show highlights its dedication to delivering exceptional service and innovation with access to top-quality boats. Whether you're an experienced sailor or new to boating, this event promises an excellent opportunity not to be missed.
