The U.S. market, and with it the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, is also of particular importance to Rolls-Royce's Power Systems division even beyond its extremely strong success in the high performance sportfishing boat market.

Rolls-Royce strengthens its position in the U.S. sportfishing and yacht markets with its presence at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

"We are on the verge of breaking the 300,000 hp mark in power delivered this year with our mtu series 2000 M96 engine, with builders utilizing our 10V, 12V and 16V cylinder variants. The 300,000 hp is spread over about 130 engines," said Andrew Boyer, senior sales manager yacht for America in occasion of the Fort Lauderdale international Boat Show. Rolls-Royce is the market leader in the U.S. sportfishing business with its mtu series 2000 engines. "Performance and reliability have impressed our customers for many years and have led to this record result," Boyer added.
