Vianne (formerly Tommy), the 52-meter steel and aluminium megayacht built by Benetti in 1995, is ready for sea trials with a completely refurbished engine room and a new interior design.

This storied yacht represents a milestone in Benetti's history and has been turning heads since she was first launched thanks to her modern design and state-of-the-art technology.

The extensive refit undertaken by Lusben's team, working with the new owner and Azimut|Benetti group interior design division Yachtique, which supervised the boat's interiors - has given M/Y Vianne a new and decidedly more modern style, as well as a new level of onboard comfort.

The owner took an active part in the process, commissioning Lusben and Yachtique to carry out a series of operations that have revolutionized the interior styling, without affecting the originality of the design. The main changes are in the owner cabin - comprising suite, dressing room, study and master bathroom - in which the furnishings and the marble and wood elements have been given a complete makeover. The same work has also been carried out in the guest area on the Lower Deck, improving usability.

In addition to these changes in styling and decor, the owner also asked for major upgrades to the engine room systems. Now fitted with zero-speed electric fin stabilizers by CMC Marine, delivering high performance and silent running, plus new generators and engines and a new air conditioning system, M/Y Vianne promises guests even higher standards of comfort. The most important result of this work, however, isn't only a question of comfort, but also of sustainability: the new upgrades significantly reduce consumption and emissions, delivering excellent performance while reducing the energy required to achieve it.

The refit project proved to be a real challenge for Lusben, with new requests added by the enthusiastic owner as work progressed. Drawing on the experience of the yard's team and the know-how of its skilled professionals, the long list of work that in normal circumstances would require a year and a half was completed in record time.

The technical launch will now be followed by sea trials and then delivery to the owner at the end of May.
