ILCA 7 Provisional Results after race day 1

ILCA 7 is the largest fleet at these Senior Europeans in Hyeres, with 169 sailors racing in 3 fleets on course A.

After the first two races it's the Dutch sailor Duko Bos NED who is leading the competition with 4 points (1-3), followed by the reigning 2021 Senior European champion Michael Beckett GBR (3-2) and Pavlos Kontides CYP (2-3) with 5. Jonatan Vadnai HUN (2-4) is also close with 6.

Niels Broekhuizen NED (1-8), the reigning 2022 World champion Jean Baptiste Bernaz FRA (1-10), Tonci Stipanovic CRO (9-2), Elliot Hanson GBR (8-3), Finn Lynch IRL (6-5) and Lorenzo Chiavarini ITA (5-6) complete the provisional European Top 10.

George Gautrey NZL, Ryan Lo SIN and Arthit Romanyk THA are ranked 6th, 8th and 11th in the overall European Trophy's ranking.

ILCA 6 Women Provisional Results after race day 1

109 sailors are being part of the ILCA 6 Women's championship, racing in 2 fleets on course B.

The reigning 2021 Senior European champion Agata Barwisnka POL had a great first day defending her title and leads the fleet with 5 points (4-1). Chiara Benini ITA (6-4) and Pernelle Michon FRA (5-5) follow her with 10.

Maud Jayet SUI (2-9) and Daisy Collingridge GBR (7-4) are also close with 6.

Vasileia Karachaliou POR (3-10), Emma Plasschaert BEL (5-8), Marit Bouwmeester NED (9-5) and Marie Barrue FRA (1-16) complete the provisional European Top 10.

Australians Mara Stransky AUS and Zoe Thomson AUS are ranked 9th and 10th overall in the European Trophy.

ILCA 6 Men Provisional Results after race day 1

64 is the number of ILCA 6 Men's sailors attending these Senior Europeans in Hyeres, racing all together in one fleet on course B, starting their sequence right after the Women.

The European titles at stake are two here: the ILCA 6 Men's O.verall champion and the ILCA 6 Men's Under 21 champion

The Irish sailor Rocco Wright IRL is actually leading both rankings after an impecable 1-2, followed two points behind by Ben Elvin GBR (4-1). Georgios Yiasemides CYP is third overall and second U21 after scoring a 9-5.

Elia Stocco ITA (7-9) and Mario Novak CRO (12-6) complete the provisional European Top 5.

Terry Hacker GBR (6-12) is third Under 21 and 6th overall.
