JOG (Junior Offshore Group) Yacht Racing will kickstart 2022 with two brand new sponsors for its racing programme. MDL Marinas and PredictWind have come on board for the JOG Weymouth race on Saturday 14th May 2022 and JOG Deauville race on Thursday 2nd June 2022 respectively.

Each race is expected to attract around 40 boats ranging from 25ft-40ft and include both double handed and fully crewed boats. They are always popular choices in the JOG sailing calendar and each class winner will have the opportunity to win an array of prizes.

MDL Marinas and PredictWind join a raft of returning sponsors supporting JOG's racing calendar, including Salcombe Gin, Serversys, Stoneways Marine Insurance, Honda Marine, Osmotech, OneSails and Exposure OLAS.

Commenting on the importance of these sponsorships for JOG's 2022 race programme, Stuart Lawrence said, "We are looking forward to welcoming MDL Marinas and PredictWind into our sponsorship programme for 2022. Like any sponsorship package, we are grateful for their support as it enables us to put more focus on our youth programme, Generation JOG, a key component of JOG's 2022 goals."

Maxine Lane, Marketing Manager from MDL Marinas states: "We delighted to be sponsoring the JOG Weymouth Race, and in turn Generation JOG. We're keen to support getting people out on the water, whether racing or cruising, to ensure the sport that we love, and the industry, continues to thrive."

In addition, MDL Marinas is also offering JOG members 10% back on annual berthing at any of its UK marinas. Details are on the JOG website.

Jon Bilger, PredictWind's CEO and Founder says "We are very pleased to be a sponsor of the JOG. Our cloud-based weather routing allows for JOG race competitors to quickly and efficiently compare the best weather models along the optimum route which can be race winning information. Being involved with JOG is perfect synergy for us and I think members will quickly see the benefits of using PredictWind in their race prep and while under way."
