Palumbo SY Refit, leader in the refit and repairs of sailing and motor yachts, with a view to strengthening its commercial and assistance strategy, invests overseas by creating its first service point covering the Central America and Caribbean area.

Lucas Delahaye, from several years already part of the Palumbo SY REFIT team and with a considerable wealth of experience in the ship refit and repair industry, will be based in Guadalupe and will be the new Head of After Sales and Refit/ Repair for Central America and the Caribbean.

"I am excited about this new challenge and we are already in action assisting all our customers in this area. In the Caribbean the season has just begun and the Central American market is very attractive especially for a Network like ours which can count on a team specialized in the refit and repair of super and mega yachts", Lucas Delahaye comments.

Another important step in the expansion plan of the Palumbo SY REFIT network will be the opening of a new office in Antibes due in early January 2021.

"Our expansion program is ambitious and we are confident that we have all the necessary requirements to provide great service and professional support in the field of ship repair and maintenance. The time is ripe also to consolidate the important French market, served by our Marseille facility of over 35,000 square metres and able to service boats from 40 to over 100 metres. The aim of opening the Antibes office, near the Port Vauban marina, is to ensure a proximity service point for our customers and for anyone willing to know more about the Palumbo SY Refit world", Giuseppe Palumbo, CEO of Palumbo SY Refit, comments.

The new quarters in Central America and the Caribbean together with the Antibe representative office add to the vast Palumbo SY REFIT network of 5 shipyards located in Malta, Marseille, Savona, Naples and Ancona, and the representative office in Monaco.
