New Icom Knowledge Base Article: An Introduction to Marine SSB Radio

Icom UK have put together an article about SSB Marine radio in the Knowledge Base Section of their website.

SSB marine radio provides mariners with a viable and effective form of communication over long distances. Not only is it an efficient form of communication but SSB offers many other benefits including email, weather reports and shortwave broadcast.

The guide provides an introduction to this technology and the various issues to look out for when purchasing this equipment including grounding, operation and installation. It also provides some useful links to other websites on this subject.
