Cambridge finished victors in both the first and second string Windsurfing Varsity Matches held at Grafham Water SC on 27 February 2016.

In testing though not extreme conditions, the power duo of Ben Lawrence and Tom Edwards finished 1st and 2nd to assure a win for Cambridge First Strings. Nicola Dinsdale upheld Oxford honour by coming 3rd, with the remaining boards being assigned honourary 4th places for effort.

Conditions proved too much for the Second Strings and it was left to Helen White to forge her determined way around a shortened course and claim a well-deserved victory for Cambridge – as the sole survivor of the contest.

Cambridge First Strings: Ben Lawrence (Capt), Tom Edwards, Torben Heinson. Second Strings: Helen White (Capt), Millie Mitchell, Thomas Brouwer.

Oxford First Strings: Nicola Dinsdale (Capt), Todd Robinson, Tash Fairweather. Second Strings: Mark Veroy (Capt), Nick Bruckner, Yi Hern Chang.
