The 'PODD' (Paignton Open for Doublehander Dinghies) is a sister event to our highly successful 'POSH' Regatta for single-handers which was hosted recently in May with support from #GetOutAndSail.
The fleets signed up so far are Albacores, 2000s, Fireballs and Tasars. There will be separate starts for any class of seven or more boats, plus a general handicap start. The PODD is for any doublehanded monohull dinghy with a PY of 1200 or below. There are three races scheduled each day.
It is possible to launch at any tide state into the sheltered yet challenging waters of Torbay. There is easy access to the club with free parking within a few minutes of the club. After racing has finished for the day the club bar will be open, perfect time to catch up on the days racing and check out the results.
Details and pre-entry form is at www.paigntonsailingclub.com/podd_regatta.php or contact for more information.
