Over twenty windsurfers from three clubs, Pugneys Pirates, Croquette Crushers and Kielder Kestrels attended at KWSC for the August Bank Holiday weekend event. As well as the racing and freestyle competition there were fun and games with model raft building and go cart drag race amongst others.

The sun came out for the BBQ on Sunday evening and everyone reported having a great time and were looking forward to next year's event.

This event was the first Team15 event held at KWSC and introduced the Kielder Kestrels to the RYA region. KWSC has recently become a RYA recognised windsurf training centre and Team15 club, anyone wanting more information about windsurfing at kielder should contact the club via its website - www.kielderwatersc.org/
