Foxer Winter Championship at Hamble River Sailing Club

20 local dinghy sailors competed for this one of the most coveted trophies presented at the Hamble River Sailing Club the home of the Foxer Class. The dinghy designed by David Thomas is having an ever increasing resurgence of interest as some of the top sailors in UK join the class and swell the number of boats.
The inaugural Winter Championship was won by Rob Greenhalgh from Ian Southworth with Chris Hamel taking third place. The prizes were presented by competitor, Paul Lovejoy's, daughter Nicole and the brand new trophy has been placed in a permanant home at the Hamble River Sailing Club bar.
