EASY WIN FOR PORTUGESE MEN'S 470

Just like Armstrong and Stowell in the women's fleet, Portugese Alvaro Marinho and Miguel Nunes had an easy win in the men's 470 first race.
Portugal's combination kept extending its lead over Ukrainians Evhen Braslavets and Igor Matvienko and Israelians Eli Zukerman and Elad Rouen.
Tom King and mark Turnbull of Australia came close to the British in the last run but not quite enough to take over them.
The Aussies came 5th behind Nicholas Rogers and Joe Glanfield.
Two of the favourites team, Paul Foerster and Robert Merrick from the United States and Gildas Philippe and Tanguy Cariou from France, both had an average first race as they came 8th and 10th.
