33rd Pompey Perisher at Portsmouth Sailing Club Overall

by Editor 5 Feb 2002 08:17 GMT

Re-arranged from the 20th January to the 3rd February the 33rd Pompey Perisher was always in danger of a low turn-out & the clash with the Weston Warmup & Tiger Trophy meant only 18 boats took to the water in this normally massive event.

Portsmouth Sailing Club had no luck with the weather on either scheduled weekend, high winds effecting the turnout still further. Lets hope that next year the wind isn't quite as strong to bring back the normal 100+ dinghies.
