O'Malleys Rum and Landyachting Sailing Extravaganza
Notice of Race
Location:
Uphill Carpark Woolston, next to Southampton Sailing Club, near
Vosper Thornycroft.
Date:
Sunday 31st October (All Hallows Eve), (fancy dress extreemly
optional)
Time:
Practice 3pm-4pm, First gun 4pm
Prize:
Ming Trophy and Bottle of Mount Gay.
Prize Giving to be held in OMalleys after racing, I am reliably informed
that someone is going to tape the rugby for viewing at the pub.
If numbers allow all competitors will race in a single fleet, the comittee
reserve the right to split the fleet and run heats for places in Gold and
Silver Fleets, Prizes will be available for both fleets.
Please have your landyacht in good working order as races will be run on a
tight schedule with approximately 1 minute gaps between races.
Please insure your landyachts have both 1DL logos and sail numbers on the
sails. TV cameras will be present. (obviously 1DL logos will be for sale
at a very reasonable price!!)

available crystal colours.
Entry fee £2 toward prizes payable at the event.
