With the wind forecast to be stronger than for day one, PRO Nathan Batchelor and his team went out to survey the conditions, anchoring in the South Bay and giving a 1 hour postponement to 'see how things developed'.

The wind, as forecast, continued to increase and just before the scheduled start time of 12 noon AP over A was flown.

Competitors were able to spend their afternoon touring the impressive Ovington factory, before regrouping at the clubhouse for a curry evening during which Club Secretary, Adam Ovington, formally welcomed the competitors to the club. A number of spot prizes were awarded, courtesy of the generous sponsorship from Ovington Boats.

It is hoped to slot in an extra race for day 3 with a start time of 12 noon.
