XOD Captain's Cup at North Sails Cowes Week 2026 - Overall

After some delay and a bit of paddling the fleet arrived at Hill Head for a committee boat start. A perfect sea breeze filled in as forecast and a navigational race track set.

After a general recall flag November was raised and that modified start plans. Boats starting on the starboard end appeared to do well as boats in the middle made gains due to the mid line sag.

Astralita returned to form as did Xcitation, Fury and her all under 30 year old crew were well placed too. Lone Star made a charge and made it through to 3rd place securing White Group and the Overall Cowes Week win a fanstastic achievement given the strength and depth of the XOD fleet. Thank you North Sails Bicentennial Cowes Week for giving our fleet such good racing.
