The countdown is well and truly on for the sixth edition of Ibiza JoySail Superyacht Regatta. Based at Marina Ibiza, this year's race will be taking place between 17 and 20 September. And with the fleet now unveiled, anticipation is building for another outstanding edition.
Twenty superyachts will be taking to the waters off Ibiza and Formentera in an edition that showcases yachts from some of the world's top shipyards, underlining Ibiza JoySail's status as a key superyacht event in the Mediterranean.
The sixth edition will welcome a blend of familiar faces and exciting newcomers, as established Ibiza JoySail entrants are joined by yachts making their debut in Ibiza and Formentera.
Returning contenders include Aurelius, Cervo, Gelliceaux, Karibu, Liberty Squared, Moat, Morgana and Nostromo, all Ibiza JoySail regulars.
Joining them for the first time are Bella, Fortissimo, Atalante, Inoui, Kalantis, Kiboko III, Mari Cha III, Ocho, Point Counter Point, Rose, Starfall and Win Win, further enhancing a line-up that reflects the diversity and appeal of superyacht racing.
From 80 to 147 feet in length, the 2026 fleet spans an impressive range of yachts built by some of the world's leading shipyards. Southern Wind leads the line-up with seven yachts, followed by Nautor's Swan with five. The fleet also features yachts built by Vitters, Baltic Yachts, Pendennis Shipyard, Oyster, Wally, Y Yachts, J.O.M. Holland and Sensation Yachts.
"The fleet is a reflection of Ibiza JoySail's evolution over the past six years. Every edition brings together an eclectic mix of yachts, from cutting-edge racing projects to cruising yachts that compete in their original configuration. Striking that balance has become one of Ibiza JoySail's defining characteristics", says Nacho Postigo, Director of Ibiza JoySail.
The Corinthian Spirit remains central to the event, allowing owners and crews to compete while keeping their yachts in standard cruising trim.
In the lead-up to the race, competitors will have the chance to contest the Perpetual Trophy. Between 15 August and 16 September, they will attempt to complete the crossing between Mallorca and Ibiza in the fastest possible time, a challenge that has become one of the standout features of Ibiza JoySail.
With the fleet now confirmed, excitement is building ahead of Ibiza JoySail 2026. Between 17 and 20 September, the waters off Ibiza and Formentera will once again be playing host to one of the Mediterranean's premier superyacht regattas.
