Every load sensor from Cyclops is pre-calibrated, accurate to within 1% of Max Working Load, and plug-and-play straight out of the box. They're tested to destruction, engineered with extreme durability for the harshest conditions, and waterproof beyond IP67 rating.

But even the toughest marine load sensors benefit from periodic inspection and recalibration. Many Cyclops sensors on race yachts have experienced years in the toughest regattas, and many on cruising yachts have helped guide their owners around the world or through multiple transoceanic voyages.

Exposure to high loads, shock events, long-term use, or installation changes can all affect accuracy over time. So it gives us great pleasure to offer a new service option to existing customers.

Sensors looking after your rig? Who's looking after the sensor?

Our existing warranty policy covers sensors in the first 12 months after purchase.

This brand new recalibration and diagnostics service is designed to give you support beyond that time - so you can trust every load reading when it matters most. When you initiate the service, your sensor comes straight to our expert team of engineers, who will service and return it with reliable data assured. Customers can also use the service through their local Cyclops reseller or service centre.

This new offering also helps us fulfil our sustainability goals - extending the life of sensors, so, in turn, they can extend the life of your rig and keep it performing at its very best.

Every Service Includes:

  • Rig test under controlled load.
  • Calibration accuracy verification.
  • Full diagnostics and performance assessment.
  • Comprehensive sensor health check, including:
    • Firmware check
    • Battery life check
    • Hardware inspection

A health check and calibration certificate are included as part of your service.
